Jamar Green is the Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, Compliance, CRA & Fair Lending Officer at Coastal Heritage Bank. He oversees Coastal Heritage Bank’s Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Fair Lending, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML), Internal Audit and Third-party Risk Management functions, as well as assists the CEO with Enterprise Risk Management. He has been with the Bank since 2020, overseeing an ever-growing scope of responsibility in compliance and enterprise risk management. As a respected and trusted advisor to the Board and fellow senior officers, he has been an instrumental partner in developing the Bank’s compliance and enterprise risk management culture while working collaboratively with all key stakeholders and community organizations.   

He has over 15 years in the financial services industry. Before joining the Bank, Mr. Green served as a Senior Compliance Consultant at CAPCO Inc., assisting financial institutions of all sizes in creating and developing compliance risk management programs. Prior to joining CAPCO, he was a Bank Examiner with the Massachusetts Division of Banks for over five years. Jamar holds a Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina Central University and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. Mr. Green is a member of the National Association of Black Compliance and Risk Professionals, a Member of the Partnership of Financial Equity, and serves as Treasurer of the Weymouth Libraries Foundation Board of Directors.
