Margaret Hart is an artist and educator working in the Posthuman era who researches larger critical issues involving climate, gender, technology and personal narrative. Her mixed media, video and installation artworks employ a wide variety of materials and are exhibited both nationally and internationally. She most recently participated in a group exhibition in Seoul, Korea, at the Workbyseoul0.05 Gallery and shows regularly at the Kingston Gallery in Boston.
Her work can be found in many public and private collections in the United States, including the Sioux City Art Center, the Stanley Museum of Art and the CU Art Museum. She is currently a Full Professor in the Art and Art History Department at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She has resided in Weymouth, MA, for over 20 years with her partner Phillip, son Christopher, her two energetic dogs Moose and Altuve and lovingly loyal cat Tuukka.
